First Choice携手CIUZ欢庆中文日

2025年6月6日，星期五，Waterfalls First Choice Private School与津巴布韦大学孔子学院合作，举办了一场鼓舞人心且文化底蕴深厚的中文日活动。中国驻津巴布韦大使周鼎先生的夫人吕仁红女士、津大孔院李丽琴教授、李开明教授等嘉宾亲临现场，鼓励和支持我校学习中文的学生。

The day began with a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for a vibrant and educational experience. This was followed by engaging speeches from and Madam Lyu Renhong and Professor Mushangwe,  each emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange and the opportunities that learning Chinese can offer.

活动以热情洋溢的欢迎辞拉开序幕，为这场充满活力与教育意义的文化体验定下了基调。随后，吕仁红女士和李开明教授分别发表了精彩的演讲，他们都强调了文化交流的重要性以及学习中文所能带来的机遇。

A highlight of the day was the Chinese Speech Contest, where students showcased their linguistic skills and confidence in Mandarin. The contest featured multiple participants living the audience impressed by the level of fluency and passion exhibited by the students. Between speeches and contests, students and guests enjoyed energetic entertainment segments, which included Chinese songs, dances, and short skits, all performed in Mandarin. 

当天的亮点之一是中文演讲比赛。学生们展示了他们的语言技能和运用普通话的自信。多位参赛者的表现给观众留下了深刻印象，学生们所展现出的中文流利程度和热情令人赞叹。在演讲和比赛间隙，学生和嘉宾们欣赏了充满活力的文艺表演，包括中文歌曲、舞蹈和短剧表演，所有节目均使用普通话呈现。

The festive mood continued with traditional Chinese cultural activities such as:

节庆般的氛围延续至中国传统文化体验活动环节，例如：

· Calligraphy demonstration书法

· Opera mask painting脸谱

· Martial arts displays武术

These interactive activities allowed students to immerse themselves in the rich traditions of Chinese heritage.

这些互动让学生们沉浸在丰富多彩的中国传统文化之中。

In a heartfelt gesture of encouragement, Madam Lyu Renhong personally presented gifts to every student who participated in the program. Her generosity and kind words of motivation inspired the students to continue striving for excellence in learning the Chinese language. The event also included a special talk from the Chinese Embassy team, who engaged students in a lively discussion about Chinese culture, values, and educational opportunities available through language learning. The day concluded with an awarding the outstanding performers in the speech contest and cultural presentations for their dedication and effort.

吕仁红女士亲自为每一位参加活动的学生送上了礼物，以示衷心的鼓励。她的慷慨和激励人心的话语鼓舞着学生们继续在中文学习上精益求精。活动还包括中国大使馆团队带来的特别讲座，他们就中国文化、价值观以及通过语言学习可获得的教育机会等话题，与学生们进行了热烈的讨论。活动最后，嘉宾们为在演讲比赛和文化表演中表现优异、付出努力的学生们颁发了奖品。

First Choice school extends their deepest gratitude to Madam Lyu Renhong, Professor Li, Professor Mushangwe, and the entire team from the Confucius Institute and Chinese Embassy for taking time to support and uplift their Chinese language learners. As a school, we are proud of the students' progress and their enthusiasm for learning Mandarin. The encouragement from our honored guests reminds us that with dedication and support, our students will continue to fly high in mastering the Chinese language.
