CIUZ Participates Career Fair Day at Marchwood Senior School  津大孔院受邀参与马奇伍德高中职业规划日

On 12 June, Marchwood Senior School buzzed with excitement as students, teachers, and guests gathered for a Career Fair Day 2026. The event was a success, giving learners a chance to explore future paths while experiencing new cultures firsthand.

6月12日，马奇伍德高级中学洋溢着兴奋的气氛，学生、教师和嘉宾齐聚一堂，共同参加2026年职业规划日。此次活动取得了圆满成功，为学生们提供了探索未来道路的机会，同时让他们亲身体验了不同的文化。

The highlight of the day was a visit from the Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe (CIUZ). CIUZ set up an interactive cultural booth that quickly became one of the most popular spots at the fair.

当天的亮点是津巴布韦大学孔子学院（CIUZ）的到访。孔子学院设立了一个互动文化展台，迅速成为博览会上最受欢迎的站点之一。

Students were introduced to the richness of Chinese culture through hands-on activities. Under CIUZ instructors’ guidance, they learned the art of Chinese calligraphy. With brush and ink, students practiced writing characters like 福“fú” for fortune and 和“hé” for harmony. Many were amazed at how much focus and balance the art requires.

通过动手实践活动，学生们领略了中国文化的丰富内涵。在孔子学院老师的指导下，他们学习了中国书法艺术。学生们挥毫泼墨，练习书写“福”（寓意好运）和“和”（寓意和谐）等汉字。许多学生惊叹于这门艺术所需的专注与平衡。

The CIUZ team also taught practical skills for daily life in China, such as how to eat with chopsticks. The students laughed, tried, and eventually got the hang of it. The lesson sparked a lot of cheers. 

孔子学院团队还教授了在中国日常生活所需的实用技能，例如如何使用筷子。学生们在笑声中不断尝试，最终掌握了要领。这堂课引发了许多欢呼声。

One of the Marchwood school teachers in here remarks indicated that students were very happy to have this practical interaction with Chinese nationals and their culture. They asked questions, took photos, and engaged fully in the activities. It wasn’t just about careers but it was about opening their minds to the world.

马奇伍德学校的一位老师在现场表示，学生们非常高兴能与中国老师进行这种文化实践互动。他们提出问题、拍照留念，并全身心地投入到活动中。这不仅关乎职业发展，更在于开阔他们的世界观。

Beyond CIUZ, other companies and institutions shared information on courses, scholarships, and job opportunities. But the cultural exchange with CIUZ gave the fair its special flavor and reminded everyone that career growth and cultural understanding go hand in hand.

除了孔子学院，其他公司和机构也分享了关于课程、奖学金和工作机会的信息。但正是与孔子学院教师的文化体验与交流，为职业规划日增添了独特韵味，也让大家意识到：职业成长与文化理解相辅相成。

Career Fair Day 2026 ended with students more inspired and confident about their futures. Marchwood Senior School thanks CIUZ for making the day memorable.
