津巴布韦前景锂业非洲日庆祝活动

Mr. Yulong, the director of the ESG Department at PLZ gave some welcoming remarks emphasizing on the  harmony between different cultures to make the world a better place. Indeed PLZ had lived up to their theme making sure the community and stakeholders were all embraced in the PLZ activities. This was also supported by Chief Chinhamhora who cited that the Africa Day is an expression of African independence and culture which is being shared in unity and friendship.

PLZ公司ESG部门负责人喻龙先生在欢迎致辞中指出，不同文化之间的和谐共处能让世界变得更加美好。PLZ 也切实践行了这一主题，确保社区成员和各方利益相关者都积极参与到公司组织的各项活动中。Chinhamhora酋长也对此表示支持，他指出非洲日是非洲独立和文化的体现，是团结和友谊的共享。

非洲日

A social football tournament comprising 8 local teams was there to play and entertain the audience. These soccer teams are an initiative by the PLZ, with one of the teams is of PLZ mine workers fueled by its entertainment appeal, as people gather to watch matches. Indeed soccer can be an expression of a people’s emotions as some were seen shouting for joy the moment their team players performed well. To some it brought out sadness as we could hear screams of disappointments when a goal was not successful. All this was done in the spirit of celebrating Africa day and was also a moment of joy and jubilation for the winning teams.

现场还举办了一场由 8 支当地球队参加的社区足球锦标赛，为观众带来了精彩的赛事和娱乐体验。这项赛事由 PLZ 倡导发起，其中一支球队由矿区工人组成。足球无疑是一种情感的表达方式，观众在看到球员表现出色时欢呼雀跃，而当进球失误时也发出失望的叹息。这场比赛充分体现了非洲日的文化精神，也是对获胜球队的祝贺和祝福。

非洲日

Not to be outdone was a hilarious performance by the CIUZ choir as many had to join on the dancing floor to the song “Tozeza Baba”. The choir also sang Chinese songs that wow the Chinese community as they could be seen dancing and following on the rhythm. Another entertaining performance was from the Traditional Dance Performance Group which saw even the Director in the Ministry of Arts and Culture joining the ensemble on stage.

CIUZ 合唱团的表演同样精彩纷呈，一首《Tozeza Baba》引得众人纷纷上台跳舞。合唱团还演唱了中文歌曲，令在场的中国观众十分惊喜，纷纷随音乐节奏舞动。传统舞蹈表演团的演出也十分吸引人，甚至连艺术与文化部的部长也走上舞台，与合唱团成员们共同演出。

The guests also had an opportunity to visit the exhibited traditional artifacts such as woven baskets and handbags, hand made teddy bears, key holders and curved animals using soapstone. These were locally made products depicting the Zimbabwean's way of life. Also the CIUZ had on display cultural artifacts depicting the Chinese culture such as the Peking opera and calligraphy. Interestingly was the explanation of the Peking opera masks use of colors and patterns to convey a character’s nature and fate as a key part of Chinese theatrical storytelling and visual symbolism.  The major highlight on this stand was when the guests were shown how to write 福the Chinese character that symbolizes blessings, peace and happiness.    

来宾们还参观了传统手工艺品展示台，如编织篮子、手提包、手工泰迪熊、钥匙扣，以及用皂石雕刻的动物雕塑，这些都是本地制作的手工艺品，展现了津巴布韦人民的生活方式。孔子学院的展台则展示了代表中国文化的物品，如京剧和书法。其中最引人入胜的是孔院工作人员对京剧脸谱的介绍，解释了如何通过颜色与图案表现人物的性格和命运，这是中国戏剧叙事和视觉象征的重要组成部分。展台的另一大亮点，是向来宾们展示如何书写代表“祝福、平安与幸福”的中文汉字“福”。

The Shona idiom “Ukama igasva hunozadziswa nekudya” (relationships are not complete until they are solidified by the sharing of a meal or food) was proven to be true as the audience were treated with a variety of Chinese food and Zimbabwean traditional food. Indeed it was a day well celebrated in unity, friendship and cultural exchanges as the audience had the opportunity to interact with various people. Many people could be heard whispering on how they enjoyed the cultural integration and networking.  

正如绍纳语谚语所说，“Ukama igasva hunozadziswa nekudya”（只有通过分享一顿饭，关系才算完整），这一天也通过中餐和津巴布韦传统美食的共享得到了印证。宾客们在愉快的用餐过程中交流互动，许多人低声谈论着对这场文化融合与交流的喜爱。的确，这是一个在团结、友谊和文化交流中度过的美好日子。
