参加本土教师培训感悟篇

My experience in the Local Teacher Training

Beijing Normal University hosted an enriching local Chinese teacher training program from 13 – 21 December 2024 where 39 students from 28 countries participated. I was privileged to participate representing Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe. The objectives of the conference included observing the, “Heroes of Chinese Teaching Conference, learning different teaching methodologies and character writing teaching tecniques.” The Chinese teachers warmly welcomed all the participants, and the training provided invaluable insights into teaching Chinese.

2024年12月13日至21日，北京师范大学承办的本土中文教师培训顺利举行。39名来自28个国家的教师代表参加了本次培训，我们受到了中方教师热烈的欢迎。我很荣幸代表津巴布韦大学孔子学院参加此次培训。本次培训旨在观摩汉教英雄会，交流不同的教学方法和汉字教学技巧，为我的中文教学提供了宝贵的理念。

We learnt about various platforms and digital resources in teaching Chinese, Chinese vocabulary and character knowledge, teaching methods, and phonetic knowledge. The training also included cultural experiences, such as visiting the cultural Heritage Museum and the iconic Bird’s Nest stadium. We marveled at ancient Chinese pottery and jade artwork.

在本次培训活动中，我们了解了各种中文教学平台和数字资源，包括汉语词汇和汉字知识，教学方法和语音知识等。培训还组织了丰富的文化体验活动，如参观中国非物质文化遗产博物馆和标志性建筑鸟巢。中国古代的陶器和玉器艺术品令人惊叹不已。

Our culinary adventures included savoring hot pot, delicious Chinese dishes and teas with Jasmine tea being my favorite. We also enjoyed the renowned Beijing roast duck. Shopping excursions allowed us to practice as we negotiated the prices for the desired items, applying our newfound language skill.

我们的美食之旅包括品尝火锅、各种美味的中国菜和中国茶。茉莉花茶是我的最爱。我们还品尝了著名的北京烤鸭。购物之旅让我们有机会运用新学的语言技能，用中文为想买的商品讨价还价。

We also had a Chance to visit a Primary School in Beijing where we had an opportunity to practice on what is expected when teaching children in Primary school. Part of the teaching practice also included role playing and active participation as teaching methods.

我们还有机会走进北京的一所小学，在那里我们践行小学教育的初衷。部分教学方法还包括角色扮演和积极参与等教学法。

Observation of the ‘’Heroes of Chinese Teaching Conference” International Chinese Skills Exchange Activity

The training’s final two days involved observing the “Heroes of Chinese Teaching Conference,” where teachers showcased innovative lesson planning and teaching methods. This experience motivated me to become a skilled Chinese teacher, utilizing diverse methodologies to cater for learners with different learning abilities.

培训的最后两天，我们观摩了“汉教英雄会”，教师们在活动现场展示了创新的教学设计和教学方法。这段经历带给我的启发是，一名成熟的中文教师需要综合使用不同的教学方法，因材施教。

The conference was a great insight to me as I realized the importance of incorporating media into teaching and aim to upgrade my Chinese proficiency to become a top-notch language instructor globally. One of the take home ideas is my suggestion to the Confucius Institute to organize similar trainings for teachers with lower HSK levels to motivate and support their professional growth. Also encourage High School and Primary School teachers through organizing Summer school programs for learners, fostering competition and promoting Chinese language education.

这次活动让我意识到将媒体融入教学的重要性。未来我将致力于提升自己的中文水平，努力成为一名顶尖的中文教师。我建议孔子学院为HSK水平较低的教师组织类似的培训，以激励和支持他们的专业成长，并鼓励中小学教师组织暑期班，培养良性竞争意识，促进中文教学事业的发展。
