我在汉教英雄会的初体验

My Experience at the 2024 Chinese Language Teaching Idols



On the 12th of December 2024 I left Zimbabwe in order to attend the 2024 Chinese language teaching Idols training which also had a competition organised for the attendees in Beijing. Upon arrival in China, I was welcomed by the volunteers from the Capital Normal University the host of the training session. The training covered topics such as Chinese as a foreign language, teaching Chinese characters, designing a course among others. The training sessions enhanced my Chinese teaching skills as I was exposed to new and current teaching methodologies used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

2024年12月12日,我离开津巴布韦,前往北京参加今年的汉教英雄会。一抵达中国,我就受到了首都师范大学志愿者们的热情欢迎。本次培训课程丰富多样,涵盖对外汉语教学、汉字教学、课程设计等多个方面。通过这些培训课程,我接触到了最新的国际中文教学方法,提高了自己的中文教学能力。



The sessions also included practical activities where we would design a lesson and teach the lesson. I had the opportunity to also design a lesson and conduct the lesson with my colleagues acting as my students.

培训课程还包括实践技能培训,要求每位学员设计并教授一节课。我也设计了一堂课,照片中我的同事们正在扮演我的学生。




The competitions were held from the 19th to the 20th of December. It was a great opportunity on my part to showcase what I have learnt and practiced over the years and period of training. The competition also offered an exhilarating experience and a glimpse to the teaching methodologies used in the world to teach various topics like Chinese culture, hobbies, Cuisines as showcased by other participants. The competition aimed at recognizing and rewarding the best Chinese language teachers from abroad and within China.

汉教英雄会于12月19日至20日举行,这项比赛旨在表彰和奖励来自国内外的优秀中文教师。对我而言,这不仅是一个展示我在培训期间所学成果的机会,更是对我多年来教学经验的总结和呈现。比赛过程紧张而精彩,参赛者们围绕文化、爱好、美食等多种教学主题,展示了丰富而创新的教学方法。


The Chinese language teacher assessment was used to evaluate the participants’ ability to effectively teach Chinese as a foreign language, focusing on Documentation and Planning, Lesson Presentation, Pupils’ Participation and lastly Professionalism. This assessment was conducted using the Chinese Language Teaching Practice Assessment form designed by the Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe.

中文教师评估针对参与者用中文作为外语教学的能力进行考核,重点评估内容包括教学文件和计划、课堂展示、学生的参与度以及教师的专业素养。本次评估采用了津巴布韦大学孔子学院设计的中文教学实践评估表。


Indeed, it was a worthy training to attend as it enhanced my knowledge and offered the opportunity to collaborate and network with colleagues from various countries who attended the training. This will give us an opportunity to keep learning from each other there by advancing each other’s teaching prospects.

这无疑是一次意义非凡的培训。在培训过程中,我有机会与来自世界各地的同事们交流合作,不仅开拓了眼界,还通过相互学习与启发,共同推动教学创新与进步。
