CIUZ少儿中文班闪耀新春庙会舞台

The CIUZ children's Chinese class shines on the stage at the New Year temple fair.

2025 年 1 月 11 日（周六）中午 12 点，由津巴布韦华商会与中津交流中心联合举办的“2025 津巴布韦华侨华人新春庙会”在津巴布韦大学大礼堂（Great Hall）盛大开幕。广大华侨华人朋友齐聚于此，共同庆祝这一充满欢乐与祥和的节日。本次庙会活动精彩纷呈，既有传统的庙会文艺汇演，又有特色美食供人品尝，现场洋溢着浓郁的节日氛围。

The "2025 Zimbabwe Overseas Chinese New Year Temple Fair" was held in the Great Hall at the University of Zimbabwe on January 11, 2025 (Saturday) at 12 noon. This prestigious event was jointly organized by the Zimbabwe Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the China-Zimbabwe Exchange Center . The majority of overseas Chinese friends gathered to celebrate this festival full of joy and peace. This wonderful temple fair activity had both traditional temple fair art show, special food for people to taste and the scene was filled with a strong festival atmosphere.

庙会流程伊始，由周鼎大使为舞狮团点睛并发红包，寓意着新的一年里事业兴旺、好运连连。随后，主持人登场，大使致新春贺词，表达了对华侨华人朋友们的美好祝愿，自此演出正式拉开帷幕。

At the beginning of the temple fair proceedings, Ambassador Zhou Ding highlighted the importance of the event and gave red envelopes to the lion dance troupe, implying prosperity and good luck in the New Year. He also delivered a New Year greeting, expressing his best wishes to the overseas Chinese friends, marking the official kicked off of the performance.

‍‍在众多精彩的节目中，津巴布韦大学孔子学院少儿中文班小朋友们活力满满的表演尤为引人注目。

Among the many wonderful presentations, it was the energetic performance by the children's Chinese Class of the Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe that was particularly eye-catching.‍‍

在津大孔院志愿者老师们的带领下，他们带来了歌舞表演《勇气大爆发》。为了这场表演，小朋友们每天下午都积极参加排练，他们克服了语言和文化差异带来的困难，认真地学习每一个动作、每一句歌词。在排练过程中，志愿者老师们耐心地指导，从发音的准确性到动作的协调性，都一丝不苟地进行纠正和打磨。小朋友们也展现出了极高的热情和毅力，一遍又一遍地练习，力求将最好的表演呈现给观众。

Under the guidance of volunteer teachers from the Confucius Institute, the children managed to practice a  song and dance performance called "Courage Bursts". They actively participated in rehearsals every afternoon prior to this event, overcoming the difficulties caused by language and cultural differences and carefully learning every movement and lyrics. The volunteer teachers patiently guided, meticulously correcting and polishing everything from the accuracy of pronunciation to the coordination of movements. The children also showed great enthusiasm and perseverance, practicing over and over again, striving to present the best performance to the audience.

当《勇气大爆发》的音乐响起，小朋友们迈着欢快轻盈的步伐，精神抖擞地登上舞台。他们用稚嫩而坚定的声音唱着中文歌曲，伴随着欢快的节奏，舞动着充满活力的舞姿。他们的表演充满了童真和活力，赢得了现场观众的阵阵掌声和喝彩。小朋友们的精彩表现不仅展示了他们学习中文的成果，更传递出一种积极向上的精神力量，感染着在场的每一个人。

The children stepped on the stage with a cheerful positive attitude and light steps at the sound the song"Courage burst". They sang Chinese songs in their young but firm voices, and dance energetically to the cheerful rhythm. Their performance was full of innocence and vitality, and won bursts of applause and applause from the audience. This wonderful performance by the children not only showed their achievements in learning Chinese, but also conveyed a positive spiritual strength, which infected everyone present.

津巴布韦大学孔子学院少儿中文班的设立，对于华人小朋友学习中文具有重要意义。在全球化的今天，中文作为世界上使用人数最多的语言之一，其影响力日益扩大。对于在津巴布韦生活的华人小朋友来说，学习中文不仅是传承和弘扬中华文化的需要，更是他们与祖籍国保持联系、增强文化认同感的重要途径。通过学习中文，小朋友们能够更好地了解中国的历史、文化和价值观，为他们未来的发展打下坚实的基础。

The establishment of Children's Chinese Language classes at the CIUZ is of great significance for Chinese children to learn Chinese language as its influence is expanding day by day. For Chinese children living in Zimbabwe, learning Chinese is not only necessary to inherit and promote Chinese culture, but also an important way for them to maintain contact with their native country and enhance their cultural identity. By learning Chinese, children can better understand the history, culture and values of China, which will lay a solid foundation for their future development.

此次新春庙会为津巴布韦大学孔子学院少儿中文班的小朋友们提供了一个展示自我的平台，让他们有机会在华侨华人社区中展示自己的才艺和学习成果。这不仅增强了他们的自信心和学习动力，也为他们在异国他乡的生活增添了一份乐趣和归属感。相信在津巴布韦大学孔子学院的精心培养下，这些华人小朋友将成为中津文化交流的小小使者，为促进两国人民之间的友谊和了解做出积极贡献。

The New Year Temple Fair provided a platform for the students in the Children's Chinese Class to showcase their talents and learning achievements in the overseas Chinese community. This not only boosts their self-confidence and motivation to learn, but also adds a sense of fun and belonging to their life in a foreign country. It is believed that under the dedicated training at the University of Zimbabwe’s Confucius Institute, these Chinese children will become small envoys of cultural exchanges between China and Zimbabwe and make positive contributions to promoting friendship and understanding between the two nations.
